School Project

Everything in life is important but there is a key to everything and one of the key is education. Education is universally recognized as one of the most fundamental building blocks for human development and poverty reduction. When given the opportunity to learn, people are empowered to contribute fully to the development of their lives, their communities, and their country. Education remains one of the most powerful instruments for reducing poverty and inequality and helps lay the foundation for sustained economic growth. KDP views education as a key factor in helping Korok community to obtain self reliance. Our goal is to raise $ 350, 000to build school for needy children in Korok Aweil North County, Northern Bahr El Ghazal State, South Sudan.

Community Participation - Engaging local community in dialogue about the proposed school project in Korok is important for the school we need to build in order to meet the needs of the local community. KDPs President Joseph Yak went home last December to meet with local community in Korok. The meeting with local community was very successful and land was donated to KDP to built school.
